Eat Healthier in Hong Kong: What is Acid Reflux | 香港食得更健康:什麼是胃食道逆流?

Have you ever experienced a burning sensation in your throat after a big meal before? Or when you’ve tasted or smelled something sour after lying down? They might very much be acid reflux. 

The official term for it is actually gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It occurs when stomach acid repeatedly flows back to your throat from the stomach, which the acid within causes damage to your lining, leading to the burning sensation that you might have.

胃酸倒流我諗大家都聽過,但唔知你又會唔會已經試過呢?當你食完餐飯之後喉嚨會有陣火燒的痛感,又或者當你訓低左之後感覺到喉嚨有一陣酸味上緊黎,依啲都係你好大機會有胃酸倒流的機會。

胃食道逆流,普遍又叫胃酸倒流,係當胃酸長期倒流而導致。個啲胃酸亦都會令到你喉嚨的組織受到破壞,導致常見的唔舒服感。

 

Risk Factors | 風險

Obesity, Pregnancy, Smoking, Eating Large Meals, Drinking alcohol or coffee

過重,懷孕,吸煙,短時間食大量食物,飲酒或咖啡

 

Prevention | 預防

Reduce weight. Stop smoking. Eat food with less fat. Stop drinking and coffee usage.

過重者減重,戒煙,食用低脂食物,不飲酒或咖啡。

Calories (cal): 367.5, Protein (g): 37.2, Fat (g): 15.2, Carbohydrates (g): 30.9, Fiber (g): 8.7

Papaya is fresh, and chicken is not fat, it is a great choice on your first step to keep away from acid reflux. Reflux is mostly caused by overeating as well, so our foodbox have a fixed proportion each time you eat, hence controlling your ingestion as well.

木瓜新鮮,而我地的雞肉又唔肥膩,係一款好適合比有胃酸倒流的人食。除此之外,佢都會因為食得太多野而導致,所以我地的食物都係有固定份量,每一日食都係咁多份量,唔會食得太多。

QUINOA SALAD 藜麥沙律 (VEGETARIAN)

Mesclun mix, quinoa, avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet corn, carrots, red onions.

Calories (cal)": 271, Protein (g): 11, Fat (g): 10, Carbohydrate (g): 41, Fiber (g): 13

Quinoa is a great alternative to sugary things like rice and noodles it will be a great way to reduce fat during ingestion.
